Unfortunately, due to reasons out of our control, Club Church is going to be closed next Thursday, therefor we have to postpone our Boston show. We were extremely excited about this one and I know our Boston family was pumped as well. Anyone who bought pre-sale tickets online will be refunded. We are already working on finding a new date to make this show up and will announce as soon as that has been finalized. We promise that it’ll be even bigger and better!
Dear B&G Family,
Your friendly neighborhood Sam RP here. First off, I’d like to give a big thank you shout out to everyone who has donated to our PledgeMusic campaign so far! We’re already at 16% of our goal but still have a ways to go, so if you haven’t joined our campaign already, hop on over to our PledgeMusic page when you can. Any pledge helps and all the proceeds go towards the recording & release of the new album. Don’t forget that any donation you make automatically pre-orders the album for you as well as other goodies available at different pledge amounts. We’ve also been updating the Pledge blog throughout the past two weeks and have posted a few fun videos up there, so head on over to the page when you can: http://smarturl.it/biscuitsandgravy
I wanted to update everyone with where we’re at in the process. The past two weeks have been very busy for us, in and out of our rehearsal space doing pre-production. Pre-production is essentially all the preparing we have to do before we get into the studio. Greg Teves, who recorded Hello Weekend, is working with us again for this album. Everyone in the band and him have been going back and forth, experimenting with the songs, trying out different tempos, different melodies and different forms of the songs, really ironing out all the details and trying every option until we feel we’ve reached the best possible, most danceable outcome. Last night we worked out a bunch of cool horn ideas (which you can see a quick 15 second snippet of on our Instagram page here: https://instagram.com/p/0F_u8zoBEa/), along with some new song endings and lyric ideas. It’s exciting to say that we’re pretty much done with all pre-production and will be going into the studio next week!
I’ll be taking plenty of photos and videos while we’re in the studio and will be regularly updating the PledgeMusic page with those, so keep an eye out for everything.
As always, thanks for all the love & support!

It’s been a long time coming but we’re extremely excited to announce that we are finally getting back into the studio to record our 2nd album! To help fund the project we have teamed up with a great company called PledgeMusic. And this is where you, our friends & fans, come in. Through PledgeMusic you can pre-order the album as well as purchase other exclusive content and unique opportunities. And here’s the important thing: all proceeds raised through our Pledge campaign go directly to funding this record, we simply can not do this one without you! We have to hit 100% of our goal to be able to complete the project, every little bit counts. We really hope that you will join us on this journey, it’s going to be a ton of fun! The day has come. We’ve been busy writing and rehearsing all spring and we’re ready to kick the summer off with a bang, throwing down at The Middle East Downstairs! Our friends Viva La Hop will be co-headlining with us that night, making sure it’s the best show of the year. This is gonna be a big one and we want all of you to be a part of it! Make sure you buy your tickets early to secure a spot on the dance floor.

See you there!
Dear B&G Family,
As 2013 comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to simply say thank you.
This past year has been one of great new opportunities for us. We’ve performed for new crowds, played at new festivals and schools, and been featured on new blogs and online series. We know none of this is possible without your love and support.
As we look forward to an exciting year ahead, our main focus will be sharing more new music and more good times with all of you: the people that keep the Gravy Train going.
We hope you enjoy some quality time with family and friends this holiday season, and we wish you all the best as you turn the corner towards 2014.
We’ll see you next year!
